Eleanor Mustang Chassis

The Ultimate 1967 Eleanor at Auction August 2026

This 1967 Eleanor Mustang isn't running a stock chassis under heavy modern power. Building a true Eleanor means starting with a 1967 Fastback foundation and reinforcing it with a chassis and suspension package capable of handling serious horsepower, modern braking demands, and real cornering loads not just looking the part. Here's exactly what's underneath this Eleanor Mustang for sale.

Front Suspension — TCI Stage 3 Independent Front Suspension

The front end runs a Total Cost Involved (TCI) Stage 3 IFS, one of the most respected aftermarket front suspension platforms used in high-performance classic Mustang builds. It includes a welded-in front crossmember for added rigidity, single adjustable coil-over shocks for tunable ride and handling, 2-inch drop spindles for a lower stance, and polished stainless steel upper and lower control arms. Steering is handled through a power rack and pinion setup, which gives a far more precise, modern handling feel compared to the original 1967 steering box.

Braking System — 14-Inch Wilwood Brakes, Front and Rear

-post-ai-image-91526.png

Stopping power comes from 14-inch Wilwood brakes fitted at all four corners, with competition silver calipers carrying the black Wilwood logo. Using identical caliper specs front and rear means balanced, predictable braking under hard stops something a stock 1967 Mustang braking system was never designed to handle at this power level.

Rear Suspension and Differential Currie Nodular 9-Inch with Torque Arm Setup

For buyers who shop for raw power above all else, this is the section that matters most. 1007 dyno-tested horsepower, a supercharged setup, and forged internals mean this engine isn't just a number it delivers real, repeatable performance. Most Eleanor builds in the current market top out between 400 and 700 HP this one delivers significantly more power than the average Eleanor for sale today.
