Bottom-End & Cylinder Head Construction
The bottom end of this 427 Power Adder engine is built to survive sustained boost, not just a single dyno pull. A forged steel crank and H-beam rods form the core of the rotating assembly, working with 2618 forged pistons an alloy specifically chosen for its strength under detonation and heat, common in boosted and nitrous applications. Every rotating component is secured with ARP bolts, and oiling under hard acceleration and cornering is protected by a high-capacity CHAMP oil pan.

Dyno-Verified Power
The engine was pulled on Prestige Motorsports' in-house DYNOmite dyno at their 5110 Davidson Hwy, Concord, NC 28027 facility on February 14, 2023, under the test name "Deluxe Rod 427 Boost V-7 YSI 750." The final logged pull shows 1009 HP at 6400 RPM, with peak torque of roughly 847 lb-ft at 6000 RPM — figures pulled directly from the RPM-by-RPM dyno sheet, not estimated.
Engine Serial Numbers & Build Identity
Every core component of this engine is serialized and matched to the same build kit, so the parts on the car are verifiably the parts that were dyno-tested:

Main & Rod Bearing Clearances

Piston-to-Bore Clearance
